Trần Hưng Đạo (1228-1300) (né Trần Quốc Tuấn) est un général vietnamien de la Dynastie Trần. En 1288, la flotte d'invasion des Yuan-Mongols a été détruite par l’armée de Trần, commandé par le général Trần Hưng Đạo à la bataille de Bạch Đằng.
La bataille du Bach-Dang est livrée le 9 avril 1288 sur la rivière Bach-Dang pendant la troisième invasion mongole du Viêt Nam (1287-1288). Elle voit la destruction par les Vietnamiens de la flotte sino-mongole de la dynastie Yuan au même endroit et dans des conditions identiques à celles qui avait vu l'anéantissement d'une flotte chinoise en 939.

Trần Hưng Đạo (1228-1300) (born Trần Quốc Tuấn) is a Vietnamese general of the Trần Dynasty. In 1288, the Yuan-Mongol invasion fleet was destroyed by the Trần army, commanded by General Trần Hưng Đạo at the Battle of Bạch Đằng.
The Bach-Dang battle is fought on April 9, 1288 on the Bach-Dang River during the third Mongolian invasion of Vietnam (1287-1288). It sees the destruction by the Vietnamese of the Sino-Mongolian fleet of the Yuan Dynasty in the same place and in conditions identical to those which had seen the annihilation of a Chinese fleet in 939.
